So what can you do on a fine fall weekend in the Niagara Peninsula?
You can spend some time outside in the woods.
The temperature is perfect. The trees are starting to change colour but most of the leaves are still on them so the views are spectacular. The air is crisp and clean with the smog and haze of summer finally gone.
In fact there is only one way to improve on this.
Go to Brock and watch the soccer teams play a couple of games. The soccer and rugby fields are at the western side of the campus and are surrounded on three sides by the woods around Lake Moodie and along the escarpment edge.
It just doesn’t get much better than this.
Of course you can also spend time watching other outdoor sports or just communing with nature during the best time of the year.
