So Far So good.

I went back to the cancer centre today for the first follow up appointment with my chemotherapy doctor. So far the results are all good.  The cancer is no longer either visible or feelable and the sores in my mouth are healing as expected. (Expected is apparently slower than as desired by me.)

All the redness on my skin has died down and although my skin is still very dry there is no sign of any breakdown in the underlying structure and no infection anywhere.

The only down side at all was a very minor red blood cell count drop but the doctor said not nearly enough to warrant any treatment. He just suggested trying to get more iron in my diet to help boost cell development.

All this just led to him saying that as far as he was concerned there was no need for him to see me again unless something comes up that bothers me. Next on the list is a meeting with the radiation doctor next week and then a ct-scan and chest xray at the end of the month.
