I’m a 60 year old Canadian. Once way back in the last millennium I used to be a jock playing and competing with considerable mediocrity in a wide range of sports.
Later but still a long time ago I flew to Vancouver and then cycled home for a summer vacation.
I am interested in photography and just about anything to do with the outdoors but I hardly ever camp anymore since it takes the better part of the morning to get up off the ground after sleeping there.
This past fall I was diagnosed with cancer. I should have suspected this because I had gotten a strange desire to run across the country.
Now I’m hoping to get my health back, run another marathon and remain very thankful for the greatest Canadian ever, Tommy Douglas.
